As a business owner, I get it a website is a big investment but it can also be your biggest helper and assistant if it’s done properly. Today so many clients come to me saying that they don’t really need a website right now because their Instagram and social media is where they are getting the majority of their leads. Here are the top reasons you need a professionally designed website to uplevel your business.
YOU DO NOT OWN INSTAGRAM
Social Media is an amazing FREE marketing tool that has changed the way we consume information, make purchases and run our business. The problem is what happens if you lose your Instagram account or the platform changes? You do not want to have all your eggs in one basket when it comes to marketing your business.
A PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE GIVES YOU CREDIBILITY
What is the first thing you do when you hear about a new company? Most likely you google it! Google will then direct you to either that companies social media, website or review. When a business doesn’t have a website doesn’t it make you question its credibility? Personally, I wouldn't want to purchase something from someone that didn’t have a credible website to make them look official.
YOUR WEBSITE CAN BE YOUR BIGGEST HELPER
Think of your website as an employee that works 24 hours a day! As small business owners, a lot of our time is spent answering questions, vetting inquiries, booking calls and sharing what our business does. If you have a well-planned out and designed website these things can all be eliminated through an FAQ pg, client intake forms, call scheduling and a well-designed and outlined service/program page.
CAPTURE LEADS
This can be done in many ways but capturing a potential client’s email with a subscription for, FREE offer or just through your contact form allows you to potentially market to them in the future. If you are selling in your DMs you are not able to capture that email and that time messaging back and forth has been lost.
SEARCHABLE
