3 Favourite Stock photography websites for small business owners and entrepreneurs
Stock Photos can get a bad rep for themselves but in all honestly, they are what a ton of small businesses use to get things started. I wanted to share 3 of our favourite sites that we use on a regular basis.
We use Unsplash for almost every project that we work on. The images are completely free and beautiful. Although the library of images may not always be exactly what you are looking for adding these in a mix along with your custom photography can help to fill any gaps you may have on your website.
Another amazing thing about Unsplash is that they are fully integrated with Squarespace so while you are building your website you can search within the platform. This is a huge plus when designing a website. It allows you to keep everything virtual and not have to download 10 test images while you decide what works best.
Pexels is similar to Unsplash, it is a completely free site. The image library here is very minimal and they have a wide range of FREE video clips as well.
Stocksy
Stocksy is a Canadian stock photography site that has a beautifully curated gallery of images. Our favourite thing about Stocksy is that you are able to purchase very reasonably priced high-quality images at a variety of different price points. You are also able to upgrade an image if you decide you need a larger file size at any time.
